How a data engineer's frustration turned into a platform that's changing how investors analyze real estate markets.
In 2023, our founder—a software engineer with a decade of experience building AI systems and data pipelines—decided to invest in real estate. What started as excitement quickly turned into frustration.
The data was scattered across dozens of portals. Price histories were incomplete. There was no way to track how long properties sat on the market. Duplicate listings were everywhere. And the few analytics tools that existed were either too expensive or too basic.
"I was spending more time wrangling spreadsheets than analyzing deals," he recalls. "And I thought: if this is hard for someone who builds data systems for a living, what must it be like for everyone else?"
That weekend, he started building what would become Palentier. The initial goal was simple: consolidate all property data from major portals, track price changes, and identify duplicate listings.
But as he shared early prototypes with other investors—friends who were in real estate funds, developers, and individual buyers—the requests kept coming. They wanted area-level pricing maps. Days-on-market analytics. Custom alerts. Historical trends. Real-time dashboards.
What started as a personal tool evolved into a full analytics platform—one that combined his expertise in AI, data engineering, and systems architecture with a deep understanding of what investors actually need.
Palentier now serves investors, funds, analysts, and developers who need more than generic market reports. We build custom analytics layers that turn raw property data into actionable intelligence.
Every dashboard, every alert, every metric is designed with one goal: help you make faster, smarter investment decisions. No bloated features. No unnecessary complexity. Just the data that matters, when you need it.
We believe that in real estate—as in software—the best solutions are elegant, precise, and built to scale. That's what we deliver.
